Justice Federal
Credit Union® safeguards the information you provide us online, in
person, and over the phone. Below is an overview of the precautions
we have taken to ensure that your visit to Justice FCU's website and
home banking system is safe and secure.
NEW! VeriSign Extended Validation
Justice FCU is pleased to announce a new security feature. VeriSign Extended Validation SSL Certificate provides you with the most secure online banking environment available.
What is Extended Validation SSL?
Extended Validation SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Certificates provide high security Web browsers information to clearly identify a website's organizational identity. When using Internet Explorer 7 or later, the URL Address bar will turn green when you visit a secure website that meets the Extended Validation standards.

When you see the green address, you can be sure that your transaction is protected under the most secure conditions available in online banking. If you do not currently have Internet Explorer 7 or later, click here to upgrade.

For MemberLink, our online banking service, we require the use of web browsers that
have 128-bit encryption.
Please view our Online Security
FAQs for more information on upgrading your browsers.
Data Encryption
Browsers are equipped with Secure Socket Layer
(SSL) encryption to ensure the security and privacy of the information
being passed between your computer and our data processing centers.
This prevents computers along the route from eavesdropping on the
data transfer between the Justice FCU site and your computer. Always verify
that you are connected through the secured server by looking for the
lock icon on Internet Explorer or the gold key on Netscape browsers,
usually on the bottom right corner. On Internet Explorer version 7.0 or later, the lock symbol is located in the address bar.
To provide the maximum protection for our members’ information,
Justice FCU requires the use of SSL connections that utilize encryption key
lengths that are 128-bits.
Please view our Online Security
FAQs for more information on upgrading your browsers.
User Authentication
In order to use MemberLink, our online banking service, you must have an
account number and a password. Your MemberLink password is your
key to unlocking your Justice FCU account online and gives you
access to eStatements, eLERTs, and Web BillPay.
Justice FCU employees cannot view your password. They are encrypted in our
databases to protect your privacy. If you think your password has
been compromised, please reset it immediately using the Change Password
feature in the MemberLink system.
Please view our Online Security
FAQs for more information on protecting
your passwords.
Network Security
Many layers of network security are used to provide added protection, rather than single layer such as a firewall. This practice places multiple barriers between the outside world and our data centers. These layers include firewalls, demilitarized zones, routers, patch management, and intrusion detection systems to protect the Justice FCU networks from unauthorized traffic. All network activity accessing our business-critical systems is monitored and logged 24/7 by a third party and audited on a continual basis.
Virus Scans
We use several layers of virus detection software. This software provides continuous proactive monitoring of our network to detect any virus activity, spyware, and malware that may be introduced and allows for immediate identification and remediation of any threats. |
