Enhanced Security

Justice FCU might be calling you.
We recommend that you provide your cell phone number as your primary phone number on your Justice FCU Visa credit card account for ease in contacting you.

We use state of-the-art technology to help prevent credit card fraud. Based on previous card usage, if your Justice FCU Visa Credit Card purchase looks suspicious, we'll try to contact you to verify if its rightful owner used the card - or if the account has fallen into the wrong hands. If the account is being used fraudulently, we can minimize additional activity from occurring.

What to Expect

In order to verify your identity, a fraud investigator may ask you to verify the following information:

Social Security Number (Last 4 numbers only)
Month and year of birth

Zip Code

Other cardholder name (if other cardholders are listed)

Mother’s maiden name

Last Payment amount
A question requiring you to provide information on a previous transaction or action on your account. Examples would include providing the merchant name from a transaction, dollar amount of large transaction, or merchant name from a unique transaction.

If you are not available to receive the fraud investigation call, you will receive instructions to call either 1-888-918-7313 or 727-299-2449 to verify the information.

As an added layer of fraud protection you may receive a second phone call if the suspicious activity is PIN related. The caller will identify themselves as The Fraud Department. If you are not available to receive the fraud investigation call you will receive instructions to call 888.685.2265 to verify the information.

So, if you receive a call asking about purchases made with your Justice Federal Credit Union Visa, please take a moment to talk to our fraud investigator to verify your credit card activity. We care about your account security.

Simple Steps to Avoid Credit Card Fraud
Ensure that your Credit Card Company has up to date contact information so that they can contact you in case of suspicious activity.
Review credit card statements regularly and notify your credit card company immediately of any suspicious activity.
Notify your credit card company if you do not receive your credit card statement.
Shred all pre-approved credit card applications and other documents that contain credit card information prior to throwing away.

Order a copy of your credit report from the three credit reporting agencies every year. Make sure it’s accurate and includes only those activities you’ve authorized. Report any unauthorized activity immediately.
