Employee Benefits

Health / Dental / Vision Insurance
Justice Federal offers a national network PPO health, dental, and vision insurance plan to employees. Employees are eligible on the first day of the month following their date of hire.

Flexible Spending Accounts
We offer both Health and Dependent Care accounts. By enrolling in one or both of these accounts, employees can pay for eligible, uninsured health and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Life Insurance
Coverage is provided equaling twice an employee’s annual salary.

401K Plan
Our 401K plan was established to provide retirement benefits for employees. Justice Federal believes in making an investment in our employees. To prove it, we adopted a Safe Harbor 401K Plan with an established matching program. Employees are eligible to participate in the 401K at the beginning of the first day of the month, following six months of service.

PTO — Personal Time Off
This benefit is intended to provide maximum flexibility for the use of leave and may be used for any reasons such as vacation, illness, or personal time.

Education
Justice Federal supports its employees in gaining additional education through seminars and college degrees. Employees who have completed one year of service and are in good standing may be eligible for reimbursement of job or industry related classes.

Computer Loans
Employees who have been with Justice Federal at least six months may be eligible to apply for an interest free computer loan for the purchase of a home computer, equipment, software, and/or upgrades.

Customer Services Representative I

Justice Federal is looking for a Customer Services Representative I to provide a variety of products and services to assist members in processing all transactions, including but not limited to loan payments, withdrawals, account transfers and bank wires. Responding to member problems within required time frame; researching and exploring answers and providing alternate solutions to members. The ideal candidate must have a high school education or GED, one to twelve months of similar or related experience in member service, credit union and/or banking experience. The candidate must be able to maintain security measures including, but not limited to, identification verification of members, negotiable instruments, member information and computer systems.

Sr. Vice President of Information Technology

The Sr. Vice President of Information Technology is an integral part of the leadership team and is responsible for the overall development and execution of the credit union’s technology strategy and solutions. Reporting to the CEO, the SVP will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the Information Technology and e-Services departments including enterprise systems and security, network communications (data, voice, Internet and video), network application servers, desktop management and support, data center operations, and the like. The SVP will collaborate with the Information Security Officer to effectively oversee, plan and direct enterprise information and cyber security operations and operational controls.

A bachelor’s degree in a closely related field is required and a master’s degree is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of IT industry experience with 3 – 5 years of senior leadership experience is required with at least two of those years being in a financial institution highly preferred. Relevant security certifications (GIAC, GSEC, CISM, Cisco, etc.) are highly preferred.

Risk Manager

Justice Federal is looking for a Risk Manager to implement and manage the credit union’s system of risk controls, monitor the credit union for adherence to compliance regulatory guidelines and rules, oversee the physical security, personnel, assets as well as the emergency response and recovery plans of all systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting or related field with two to three years supervisory experience and a minimum of five to eight years of similar or related experience.

The duties and responsibilities of this position will act as a Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Officer and oversee management of anti-money laundering program, develop and maintain policies and processes for all responsible areas. Coordinate and conduct investigations of suspected and actual internal and/ or external fraud and maintains the immediate oversight and implementation of credit union’s business continuity plan, including but not limited to scenario testing and training.


Loan Processor

Justice Federal is looking for a Loan Processor who will be responsible for accurately processing efficient loans and disbursing of the consumer loan documentation within Justice Federal Credit Union lending guidelines. This position will also provide support to management, teammates and branch staff as it relates to the core lending system, loan processing procedures and practices. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one to three years of similar or related experience.

Candidates should have recent and relevant knowledge of financial products and services, effective sales, verbal, written and strong interpersonal and member relations skills. The duties and responsibilities of this position are preparing loan packages for underwriting in a prompt and accurate manner, analyzing financial information to identify additional loan or share opportunities for cross-selling, disbursing of loans per underwriting guidelines or instructions and performing daily follow up on pending loans through written and or oral communication.


Programming Supervisor

Justice Federal is looking for a Programming Supervisor to assist with the oversight of the organization’s programming services for the core system as well as select business processing platforms. The ideal candidate will have BS Degree in Computer Sciences or related field or equivalent work experience, eight to ten years programming experience including database management. Minimum of five years progressively responsible experience in financial institutions dealing with member service and back office system functions. One year previous supervisory experience preferred, Comprehensive knowledge in structured programming methodology, knowledge of Access, SQL, HTML, Java and SharePoint. Candidates should be able to read and interpret complex technical publications and documentation. Candidates should possess the ability to learn new programming languages, environments, technologies, Symitar (Episys) Repgen/PowerOn or other Credit Union Core programming experience and proficiency in one or more of the following: JAVA, VB.Net, C#, C/C++, or VBA.

The duties and responsibilities of this position are to assist in managing employees in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting with interviewing and training new employees, career development and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance in a timely manner, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Candidate partners with manager to develop policies and procedures for change management, new processes, core system and select business processing platforms in order to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations. Develop, implement and maintain application software according to the established standards and specifications using approved programming languages, databases and coding practices. Develop software solutions for core banking system; online and mobile banking platforms, Establishes responsive support channels and resources to address end-user requests and concerns. Internal Auditor

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks an Internal Auditor to plan and complete audits of all areas of the credit union in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards. This is a one-person internal audit operation. The selected individual will act as a compliance officer assuring observance with internal policies and external laws and regulations; ensure accurate and reliable information is produced by the credit union, and promote operational efficiencies with the goal of safeguarding the assets of the credit union.

Senior Marketing Coordinator

Justice Federal is looking for a Senior Marketing Coordinator who will serve as primary liaison between the Marketing Department, Credit Union branches and departments for planning and executing promotional events and sponsorships. Sources and maintains inventory of premium items; oversees fulfillment within predetermined timeline. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications or equivalent experience. three to five years relevant business experience, computer and creative writing experience preferably in a financial or membership-oriented environment. Experience in sales, retail or customer service related fields.

Candidate should also possess strong interpersonal, excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills. Computer efficiency in design software-Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office-word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Willing to run errands; travel occasionally in support of events, strong attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of Credit Union’s products and services. The duties and responsibilities of this position are event planning, design and production within time limits, sourcing and managing relationships with vendors. Maintaining and fulfilling marketing collateral and inventory. Delivering planned results for each event within budget and drafting marketing communications relative to events.


Sr. Quality Control Specialist

Justice Federal is looking for a Senior Quality Control Specialist to perform consumer loan quality control functions, provide guidance and support to management and staff with respect to implementation and updating of programs, policies, procedures and practices to ensure compliance with existing and new regulatory lending laws and regulations. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, three years of experience in consumer lending or a financial institution and five years’ experience in lending quality control or equivalent work experience.

Candidates should have knowledge of regulatory compliance with Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Lending, Reg. B and Reg. C (HMDA) and BSA, demonstrating thorough understanding of Military Lending Act (MLA) guidelines which applies to Consumer Lending Loans. Excellent attention to detail and follow through, strong analytical, interpersonal, critical thinking and effective oral and written communication skills.

Branch Manager II

Justice Federal is looking for a Branch Manager II to lead and direct branch operations; ensuring excellent member service consistent with the credit union mission and vision, expanding and retaining existing member relationships as well as securing new member relationships by identifying sales business development opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a two year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program and a minimum of three to five years management experience as a traditional branch manager in a small to medium sized branch, financial sales and service in banking or credit union.

Financial Services Officer III – Floater

Justice Federal is looking for a Financial Services Officer III - Floater to perform the duties which encompasses managerial responsibilities in the branch assigned; to include working as a vault teller and Financial Service Representative. Must be fully knowledgeable in branch operations, lending procedures and guidelines while handling members inquiries pertaining to Real Estate Lending, provide quality member service and assuring that all security procedures are adhered to, to include but not limited to security of branch, ATM, Express Box, computer systems and negotiable instruments.

The ideal candidate must have a high school education or GED, three to five years of credit union or related experience. The candidate will work independently while running a small branch office and be required to assist at other branches or locations as business and staffing needs dictate, must be able to obtain multiple security clearances and an in-depth background investigation to access various branches.
