Federal Government Shutdown: Special Member Assistance Now Available

Justice Federal is here for you‒ always.

Your financial well-being is always our top priority. We understand that a federal government shutdown can cause financial hardship, therefore, we are dedicated to supporting your financial needs.

The following special assistance is available to new and existing Members that are employees of the federal government or are a federal government contractor impacted by the federal government shutdown.

  • Deferred Loan Payments*
    Members may qualify to defer Consumer Loan and VISA Credit Card payments for up to 30 days. Based on the length of the Federal Government shutdown, Members may request an additional 30-day deferment.***

  • Mortgage Assistance*
    Mortgage forbearance may be available. Please inquire with a Justice Federal Mortgage Counselor.

  • Confidential Financial Counseling
    Access to free, confidential financial counseling is available to help you manage your finances.
